Settings: Ask the guide (limits and question log)
Ask the guide lets everyone ask a question in plain words and get an answer from the user guide (see Ask the guide). Admins control how much it can be used and can read what people asked.
Open Admin → Settings → Ask the guide. It has two cards.
- 1. How many questions each person may ask a day.
- 2. After this many, Ask starts a new conversation.
- 3. What people asked, “Not in the guide” first.
- 4. Download the questions as a CSV.
Limits
Section titled “Limits”The first card, Ask the guide, has two numbers:

Press Save. A message says “Everyone can now ask N questions a day, up to M in one conversation.” The day is counted from midnight, Singapore time. Answers that fail don’t count.
To give one person more or fewer questions a day, use Ask limit on their row in Users.
If you type a number outside the range, the card says “Questions per day: a whole number from 1 to 500.” or “Questions per conversation: a whole number from 5 to 50.”
Questions people asked
Section titled “Questions people asked”The second card shows what people asked. Not in the guide questions come first: they show which pages to write next.

- Narrow the list with Role (Everyone, Sellers, Staff, Admins), Client, From and To.
- A line above the table says how many were asked in the last 30 days, what share were not in the guide, and the most used guide pages.
- Export CSV downloads the list you are looking at as
ask-questions.csv. - If there are many, Previous and Next move between pages.
Sellers’ questions are kept for later analysis. Staff and admin questions are deleted after 90 days. Answers aren’t stored. See Data and privacy.
