Let AI write your first draft

This page is for website editors (admins with Website editor switched on). When AI is set up for your platform, Choose a template to start shows a card called Let AI write your words. It starts your site from the template you pick, but the AI writes the words from what you tell it.

Write your first draft

Open Website. You see Choose a template to start. Pick a template.
In the Let AI write your words card, fill in:

Box	What to type
Company name	Your business name (up to 80 characters).
About your business	What you do, who for, where, what makes you different. 30 to 3,000 characters.
Your current website (optional)	A public link, such as `https://yourshop.com`. The AI reads it for facts.
Pictures (optional, up to 4)	Photos such as a rate card or a brochure. The AI reads them for facts.

Press Write my site with and the template’s name. A tracker shows the steps: Reading your website, Reading your pictures, Writing your pages, Checking every offer you mentioned and Saving your draft. You also see a bar and the time so far.
Your Pages open with the AI’s words in place.

You can leave the page while it works. The AI keeps going. Come back to Website and the tracker is still there. When it finishes, the editor opens.

Only one AI draft can run for your company at a time.

The link and the pictures are only read. Your pictures are not put on the site. Add your own in Pictures.

Every offer you mention gets a place

The AI checks that each offer you mentioned (for example a free consultation) appears on the site. If the template has no spot for an offer, the AI adds an extra section for it.

When your Pages open, a note tells you what happened:

The AI used: the offers it placed.
Not placed: offers it could not fit. Add them yourself.
Some parts kept the template’s words: parts the AI did not rewrite. Read them and change what is not true for you.

What the AI writes, and what it doesn’t

The AI writes headings, descriptions, services, steps and answers to common questions, using your facts.

It does not make up:

Numbers such as “500 orders a day” or “10 years”. These stay as placeholders for you to fill in.
Customer reviews. The sample review stays a placeholder.
Prices. They appear only if you gave them, or they are on your link or in your pictures.

Anything the AI didn’t know stays in square brackets, such as [phone] or [City]. Search each page for [ and fill them in.

Check before you publish

Nothing goes live until you press Publish. Read every page, fill in the [brackets], and remove anything that is not true. Use Preview website to see it on a phone and a computer.

When you press Publish

A sheet shows four steps: Queued, Building, Uploading, Live. Under them is a line saying what is happening (for example Building pages and pictures · 3 of 8), and the time so far. The bar at the bottom says Publishing… and the step.

Your current site stays live until this finishes. When it is done you see Version N is live. with a link to open the site. You can close the sheet at any time. Publishing carries on.

Limit

You can write 5 AI drafts a day (the day changes at midnight, Singapore time). Every try that reaches the AI or your link counts, even one that fails. If the AI stops because of a restart on our side, that try does not count. After that, start with the sample words instead (see Start your website, or start over).

If something goes wrong

What you see	Why	What to do
“AI writing isn’t set up yet”	The platform has no AI key.	Start with the sample words, or ask the platform admin.
“Tell us a bit more about your business (at least 30 characters).”	The description is too short.	Add more detail.
“We couldn’t open that link. Check it, or leave it empty.”	The link is wrong or private.	Fix it, or clear the box.
“The AI didn’t answer. Try again, or start with the sample words.”	The AI was busy or failed.	Press the button again.
“You’ve used today’s 5 AI drafts. Try again tomorrow, or start with the sample words.”	You used all 5 today.	Wait until tomorrow, or start with the sample words.
“Version N failed” when you publish	The build did not finish. Your old site is still live.	Press Publish again. If it fails again, ask the platform admin.
“Pictures must be JPEG, PNG or WebP”	A file is another type.	Choose a different picture.
“The AI is already working on your site.”	A draft is already running for your company, maybe in another tab.	Wait for it to finish.
“The AI stopped. Try again.”	The AI was interrupted. This try does not count towards your 5.	Press the button again.
“We lost touch with the AI job. Reload to check on it.”	Your connection dropped.	Reload the page.
“Your website has already been started.”	Someone started it a moment ago.	Reload the page.
