Ask AI to change your site

This page is for website editors (admins with Website editor switched on). Once your site has started, you can type a request in plain words and the AI changes your draft.

  • Ask AI to change this page is at the top of a page’s editor. Use it for one page.
  • Ask AI to change your site is on the Pages list. Use it for changes across your pages and your business details (phone, email, address, hours).

Type your request (5 to 1,000 characters) and press Ask AI.

On a phone, each box starts as one button, Ask AI to change this page or Ask AI to change your site. Tap it to open the box.

  • Add a section about our free WMS/OMS consultation.
  • Change our cut-off time to 3pm everywhere.
  • Make the rates page friendlier.

A tracker shows the steps and the time so far. The page you are on can’t be edited until it finishes. You can leave the page. The AI keeps going, and the tracker is still there when you come back. Only one AI job can run for your company at a time.

When it finishes, a card called What the AI changed lists each change, for example:

  • Added a new section: ‘Free WMS/OMS consultation’
  • Changed the top banner section on the Home page
  • Changed ‘[cut-off time]’ to ‘3pm’ on the Home page
  • Changed the phone number: ‘+65 6000 0000’ → ‘+65 6123 4567’

Sections it changed or added show an AI changed badge in the page’s section list.

When the AI changes words inside a text section, links, lists and bold text stay as they are. Renaming a marketplace keeps its logo; a marketplace the AI adds shows as its name in text.

Button What it does
Keep Closes the card. The change stays in your draft.
Undo Puts back what was there before.

While an undo is available, the bar at the bottom shows Undo AI change. Press it and check the list, then press Undo. Edits you made since then to the same pages are lost.

You can undo only the last AI change. The undo goes away when you Publish, Revert, restore a version, Start over, Use on my site (a template) or undo a template.

  • Pictures
  • Your company name
  • The menu
  • The design (template, colours, fonts)
  • The enquiry form
  • Blog guides

The page box also doesn’t change your business details. Use the site box for those.

The AI only changes your draft. Read the change, use Preview website, then press Publish.

You can ask for 20 AI changes a day (the day changes at midnight, Singapore time).

What you see Why What to do
“AI writing isn’t set up yet” The platform has no AI key. Ask the platform admin.
“Tell the AI what to change (at least 5 characters).” The request is too short. Say a bit more.
“Keep it to 1,000 characters or fewer.” The request is too long. Shorten it.
“Fix the marked fields, or wait for your changes to save, first.” Your own edits are not saved yet. Fix the marked fields, then ask again.
“The AI is already working on your site.” A draft or a change is already running, maybe in another tab. Wait for it to finish.
“You’ve used today’s 20 AI changes. Try again tomorrow.” You used all 20 today. Wait until tomorrow, or edit by hand.
“The AI didn’t answer. Try again.” The AI was busy or failed. Press Ask AI again.
“The AI couldn’t make that change. Try saying it another way.” The AI’s answer could not be used, or it found nothing to change. Say it another way, or be more specific.
“The page changed while the AI worked. Try again.” You or someone else edited the same page meanwhile. Your edit is kept and the AI’s change is not applied. Ask again.
“The AI stopped. Try again.” The AI was interrupted. Press Ask AI again.
“Choose a template to start your website first.” Your site has not been started. Start your site first.
“Nothing to undo.” The undo is already gone. Nothing.
