How theopsroom updates itself
When a new version of theopsroom is out, the page reloads itself as soon as the new version has downloaded, usually a few seconds after you open theopsroom. If you’re in the middle of something, it waits until you’ve finished (see below), or goes in when the app or tab goes to the background.
An app or tab left open checks for a new version every 30 minutes and whenever it comes back to the front. This works the same in a browser, the installed web app and the Android app.
What holds the update back
Section titled “What holds the update back”- Pick & Pack, once you’ve scanned an item of an order, while a guided pick is under way, or while it’s packing. The update goes in when the order is packed, skipped or left.
- A guided walk from the Pick list, until it’s finished or stopped.
- An invoice with unsaved changes, until it’s saved.
Reloading yourself
Section titled “Reloading yourself”If the update can’t go in by itself, a box at the top says “A new version of theopsroom is ready”. Press Reload when it suits you.
